Education Benefits
Benefits Administration, located in 224 Crawford Hall, is responsible for administering and updating the benefits program. Employees are responsible for selecting and using their benefits prudently and in the most cost-effective manner. TUITION WAIVER
Employees, as well as, spouses and dependents of employees, have an opportunity to pursue their education at Case through the tuition waiver program.

- Certification forms for
- Fall semester will be accepted until September 30
- Spring semester will be accepted until February 28
- Summer semester will be accepted until July 1
- Forms are available on-line (Certification for Tuition Waiver) and in the Benefits office. Forms are required to be submitted for each semester in which a tuition waiver benefit is utilized. Please read the general requirements and further information before completing and printing any of the linked forms.

Please note that the registration procedures for courses in the schools of Dentistry, Nursing, Management, Law, Applied Social Sciences, and Medicine may differ. Contact the individual school for specific information.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
Tuition reimbursement is available to employees who cannot take advantage of the tuition waiver program for Case courses because job related courses are not available at Case, and/or the employee cannot get release time for the job related courses at Case. Employees may receive up to $2,000 per year for work related courses at a degree granting institution other than Case. Employees may apply for a tuition waiver or a tuition reimbursement during any one semester/quarter, but not for both during the same semester/quarter.
- Preauthorzation must be obtained from Benefits administration located in 224 Crawford Hall each semester/quarter in consultation with the employee's supervisor or manager by completing the Tuition Reimbursement Form (pdf).
ADULT BASIC SKILLS
Employees and their families can enroll in the Cleveland Municipal School District program located on campus focusing on reading, language, GED preparation, coping skills, vocabulary, math, consumer education, and health issues. Call 216-368-6703 for more information and dates.
ENGLISH SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES
Employees and their families can enroll in the Cleveland Municipal School District classes located on campus in a classroom. ESOL consists of multiple areas of language training: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. ESOL offers beginning, intermediate and advanced English as second language classes, both the beginner/intermediate and intermediate/advanced classes. For other who are interested in qualifying for higher education in the United States, TOEFL preparation is also being offered with a minimal fee of $30, which covers the audio and visual materials.
