World of Service

Make a positive contribution to communities throughout the world ...

In the World of Service, CWRU students from all academic disciplines engage in service-learning experiences around the globe to help individuals, families, organizations, and agencies of government meet their needs in a variety of areas, including the following:

  • Education/ mentoring
  • The arts
  • Public health
  • The environment
  • Housing/homelessness
  • Technology
Students work closely with local residents and leaders to identify needs and to plan, implement, and evaluate solutions. Projects are innovative and interesting, with impacts that range from the personal to the communal.
