Eric A. Meyer

Eric has left the building.

That's right, I left CWRU to join a local technology consulting firm, so I'm no longer Hypermedia Systems Manager for the univeristy. Digital Media Services, my former department, has been gracious enough to allow me to keep this page up after my departure so that interested parties can still find me.

All of my personal information has been shifted to http://www.meyerweb.com/. If you want to know what I'm doing these days, that's the place to look.

Since it's still somewhat relevant for this page, I'd like to mention that CWRU's Introduction to HTML, published in June 1995, keeps gathering hits to the tune of over 30,000 readers a month. As of late 2000, it has been estimated that over one million people have dropped by to learn HTML from this single tutorial! This is the tutorial which Point Communications Corp. named as part of the "Top 5% of the Web," and they included it in their book, The World Wide Web Top 1000. The tutorial was also mentioned in the article "The Best Mac Web Sites," which appeared in the August 1996 issue of MacWorld. If you'd like to learn more, please visit the tutorial's table of contents. Share and enjoy!
