Life Insurance gifts
A gift of whole life insurance can be made to
Case by naming the university the irrevocable owner and beneficiary
of the policy. Gifts of life insurance policies require charitable
contributions from the donor to the university in the amount of
any premiums, including unscheduled premiums, which may become
due.
The university may also be named as the beneficiary
of a life insurance policy that you continue to own. This designation
is easy to accomplish and simply requires completing a change of
beneficiary form from your insurance company.

Merging, a sculptural fountain located in front of
Guilford on the north campus, was designed by artist Athena
Tacha and is part of the John
and Mildred Putnam Sculpture Collection.
The collection
began with a gift from the Mildred Andrews Fund to commission
Snow
Fence by Gene Kangas. Further gifts followed, and in 1981
Mildred Andrews Putnam established a permanent endowment at
the university for the acquisition of sculpture. Since 1981
more than thirty two works have been purchased or commissioned
for the collection.
