CLEVELAND HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY

The Cleveland Health Sciences Library, formed in 1965 by an agreement between the Cleveland Medical Library and the Western Reserve University, operates in two locations: the Health Center Library and the Allen Memorial Library, which includes the Howard Dittrick Museum of Historical Medicine and the collections of the Cleveland Medical Library Association. The Health Center Library, located in the School of Medicine, houses collections of the CWRU department of biology and the schools of dentistry, medicine, and nursing.

MEDICAL SCHOOL BOOKSTORE

The CWRU Medical Bookstore, located in the School of Medicine, is a full-service branch of the University Bookstore operated for health science students, health professionals, and hospitals in northeastern Ohio. Customers may choose from a selection of all required texts, as well as many basic science and clinical books of special interest. Also offered is a wide selection of stationery supplies, medical equipment, new and used microscopes, and clinic wear at substantial discounts.

Special services include professional microscope and medical equipment cleaning and repair. Order services exist for books and equipment not carried in stock. Students may also resell used texts to the bookstore during designated periods.

CWRU medical students may open charge accounts, and may participate in the annual equipment sale.
