Case ties Rochester, 0-0, in season finale
CLEVELAND, OH (November 7, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team tied the No. 16-ranked University of Rochester, 0-0, in the regular season finale in Cleveland, OH.
With the tie, regionally-ranked Case Western Reserve moves to 9-6-3 overall and 3-3-1 in UAA play, while Rochester is now 11-3-3 overall and 5-1-1 in the UAA.
The Yellow Jackets won the battle of shots, 11-9, and held a 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
In goal, sophomore Anna Kennedy (Evanston, IL) made five saves.
Case Western Reserve finished above .500 for the first time since 2003. Its three UAA wins are the most for Case since 1993 (4-2).
