Denison Box - Allegheny Box

CLEVELAND, OH (October 31, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team went 2-0 at an Allegheny College tri-match on Saturday. The Spartans defeated Denison University 3-0 (25-15 25-21 26-24) and Allegheny 3-1 (25-19 25-27 25-20 25-11) to improve to 21-7 (3-4 UAA) on the year.

The 21 wins top last year's mark of 20-14 and they next host Notre Dame College Nov. 3 at the Veale Center at 7:00 p.m.

Sophomore middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH) had 37 kills in the two matches and eight blocks. Freshman Allie Palmer (Avon Lake, OH-pictured) added 20 kills.
