CLEVELAND, OH (September 18, 2009) - Case Western Reserve University sophomore middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH-pictured) recorded a season-high 18 kills as the Spartans defeated John Carroll University 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20) in their first match of the Carnegie Mellon University Crossover in Pittsburgh, PA.

Freshman outside hitter Alexandria Drake (Phoenix, AZ) and sophomore outside hitter Rachael Suchy (Venetia, PA) added ten kills each.  Senior libero Andrea (Hamilton Beach, CA) had a team-high 16 digs.
