Final Stats

CLEVELAND, OH (September 12, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team defeated Baldwin Wallace College 3-1 (25-16, 19-25, 25-20, 20-15) at the College of Wooster Tournament on Saturday, finishing 3-1 overall in Wooster, Ohio. The Spartans improve to 6-2 on the season and will host Badlwin Wallace College at the Veale Center September 16 at 7:00 p.m.

Sophomore middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH) posted a team-high 13 kills while sophomore outside hitter Rachael Suchy (Venetia, PA-pictured) added 11. Sophomore middle hitter Ellie Lyman also had seven kills against Baldwin Wallace. Suchy and freshman setter Rachel Gulasey (Cleveland, OH) were both named to the All-Tournament Team. It was Suchy's second honor in as many weekends as she was also named to the Mt. Union College All-Tournament Team last weekend.
