Case ties #9 Rochester, 0-0, to close season

CLEVELAND, OH (November 7, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s soccer team tied the #9-ranked University of Rochester, 0-0, in the season finale in Cleveland, OH.

The Spartans close the season at 7-8-4 overall and 0-5-2 in UAA play, while the Yellow Jackets are now 12-1-3 overall and 5-1-1 in the UAA entering post-season play.

The Yellow Jackets held a 21-6 advantage in shots, while each team took six corner kicks.

In goal, sophomore Ben Yabrow (Marietta, GA) made eight great saves..

This year's senior class finishes as one of the winningest classes in Spartans history with a 49-20-8 record.
