This is the schedule and tentative assignments for Dr. Szarek's Math 224 class (MWF 11:30, section # 1268). All assignments are subject to change. Changes will be announced in class and/or by email and posted on the Web (here). The page number refers to the first page of a given set. The due date is usually the following regular (no test) class after the corresponding topic was covered in class. Solutions will be progressively posted on Blackboard.

Due to time constraints, only some aspects of each topic will be discussed in class. Accordingly, you are responsible for reading the sections of the book that are being covered. It is also recommended that you read each section at least lightly before it is covered in class.

As a general rule, exercises that call for DETools software (HPGSolver etc.) may be done using any software of your choice.
