Lab 7.1, p. 671,
"Errors of Numerical Approximations", will serve as Project 2.
The project is due on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 (in class, or by 4:00 p.m. in
my office, or by 11:59 p.m. by email).
It will be worth 30 points. The theoretical maximum will be somewhat higher.
The project is to be done in teams of 2-3 people (preferably 2).
Except for part 1.,
the equations can be solved analytically.
Where possible, you should find the analytic solution and compare it with the
results obtained numerically.
You need to use your own implementation of the Euler, Improved Euler
and Runge-Kutta Methods. (It is OK to modify the code used in class.)
For comparison between the numerical results for various methods and
various step sizes compare the errors for WELL chosen values of t.
