Western Reserve Historical Society history programs: Cleveland: Then and Now – WRHS Historian, Dr. John Grabowski will present an illustrated review of the city's history based on images of places as they appeared in the past and as they appear now. Based on Dr. Grabowski's best selling book, 7:00pm. Free with museum admission.

Western Reserve Historical Society history programs: The Brief Wild Ride of the New York Central Railroad Jet Train – In 1966, the NYC's Cleveland Technical Center modified a self-propelled diesel commuter coach, replacing the motors with two jet engines. Don Wetzel, then the assistant director of technical research - the first and only jet railroad engineer, and Sheldon Lustig of the NYC System Historical Society share the story of how the NYC's “Black Beetle” set the 183.85 mph U.S. rail-speed record that stands to this day, 7:00pm. Free with museum admission.
