1932

GLASSER received Patent No. 1,855,669 for "a method and apparatus for the measurement of radiation intensity". At the time the patent was obtained, the Cleveland Clinic and the Victoreen Instrument Co., Cleveland, made arrangements to manufacture the condenser dosimeter. Both had already collaborated in building the "Fricke-Glasser x-ray dosimeter" some years earlier. Since then, the Victoreen Company has sold thousands of dosimeters all over the world.

1936

THE Radiological Society of North America honored Glasser's achievement in the science of radiology by awarding him a gold medal.
