The Cleveland
Food Bank, winner of national awards for providing food for the
needy here in northeast Ohio, has lent it's support to the
Science in the Circle program, a National Science Foundation
funded after school program for Cleveland students.
Moving in the direction to provide nutritional support for after
school programs with populations of students residing in areas
of greatest need, the Cleveland Food Bank created an opportunity
for the Center for Science and Mathematics Education to be one
of the first to participate in this new initiative. No student
in the Science in the Circle program will be hungry while they
participate in hands on science and more in this program. Thank
you to the Cleveland Food Bank, especially, Thea DeRosa, for
making this possible.
