Center for Science and Mathematics Education

Badillo and Rogers Join CSME Staff

Ana Badillo, Equinox Coordinator, moved from Case's Dept. of Engineering to the Center for Science and Mathematics Education.  Ana continues to build participation in this summer residential academic program for gifted high school students.  Although the program originates from Northwestern University (Chicago, Illinois), Ana builds a local staff from education professionals in the region each summer to deliver high quality, academically challenging experiences for high school students from around the country.  Ana earned her B.A. from Baldwin Wallace College and a Masters in Business Administration from Case's Weatherhead School of Management.

Melissa Rogers joined the staff to work with the newly introduced middle school commuter program for academically gifted students called Spectrum. This Northwestern University designed program will be launched this summer on the Case campus.  In addition to her Spectrum responsibilities, Melissa will be a faculty member for the Cleveland Municipal School's Math and Science Partnership Program and continue her role as a member of the JASON Project teacher training team.  Melissa is a geophysicist who earned both her B. S. and M. S. degrees from Virginia Tech.

Welcome Ana and Melissa.
