Tonia Kates Stewart, Ph.D., received her degree in Interpersonal Communication from Bowling Green State University. Her dissertation was on "The Social Drama of Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill." She has taught at several institutions including, Bowling Green State University, Ohio Northern Univeristy, and Case. Her focus has been on communication across disciplines, with specialization in the area of multicultural communication. Her years in student services as a top administrator, have helped define her as an educator and an active partner with others in creating a learning environment that emphasizes the development of the whole person.
