The Alumni/Senior Audit is a special program that supports
and encourages lifelong learning for our alums and senior
neighbors. However, certain conditions and restrictions apply. Please
read the following carefully.
-
Audit enrollment is limited to ten percent of Case student
enrollment in any one class.
-
Auditors pay ten percent of
regular undergraduate tuition. For 2009-10, the rates are as follows:
Tuition |
Undergraduate |
|
Regular tuition per credit hour: |
|
|
A/S Audit rate for a 3 credit class: |
$449 |
$413 |
A/S Audit rate for a 4 credit class: |
$598 |
$550 |
-
An alumnus/alumna
is defined as anyone who graduated from Case or any of
its predecessor schools or who has successfully completed
twelve or more credit hours without completing a degree.
Senior students must be 65 years of age or older.
-
Auditors
cannot also be enrolled in a degree program at Case.
-
The majority of classes offered by the College of Arts
and Sciences are open to auditors. There are some exceptions.
Please follow the link to Courses
for Audit for more information.
-
Auditors will not receive a grade or credit. Courses
taken through the Alumni/Senior Audit will not appear on
an existing transcript, nor will they generate a transcript
for auditors new to the university. Auditors may not, at
any subsequent time, enroll for credit in any class audited
through this program.
