Each year the Department of Anthropology presents two sponsored lecture series, the Kassen Lecture sponsored by Drs. Aileen and Julian Kassen and the Spotlight Lecture Series on Applied Anthropology, sponsored by Jonathan Plimpton. In 2008-2009, the department sponsored a four-part lecture series titled "Global Health, Culture and Change." Additionally, each year the department co-sponsors a number of lectures in collaboration with the Evolutionary Biology program and other departments on campus. |
