You won't want to miss this special tour of the majestic Cleveland landmark that will be the new home to the university's departments of dance, music and theater.

Visit the future Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at The Temple - Tifereth Israel on Sept. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. Guests may take advantage of shuttle service outside Veale Parking Garage.

Lunch, Laughter and Luminaries at the Alumni Reunion Luncheon

About Face: A Look at Cosmetic Surgery

As part of the THINK Forums series, join Faisal A. Quereshy, MD, DDS, FACS (DEN '97) in an analysis of the facial structure in a systematic method to help with diagnosis and eventual treatment planning.

Non-surgical treatments such as the various skin care modalities will be presented including skin treatments and non-invasive rejuvenation procedures. At the conclusion of this discussion, the participant will a have a greater appreciation of the various cosmetic procedures, including risks and side effects.

The Grand Lecture: A Dramatic Breakthrough in the Quest to Treat Alzheimer's Disease

You and your guests are invited to hear Case Western Reserve University researchers Gary Landreth, PhD, and Paige Cramer, PhD, discuss next steps following the discovery of a FDA-approved drug that clears amyloid from the brain and reverses cognitive defects in experimental models of Alzheimer's disease.

Meet Dean Widing


Weatherhead is pleased to add to the excitement of Alumni Weekend with a unique opportunity to meet Robert E. Widing II, our newly appointed dean. We invite alumni, faculty, staff and students to  Meet the Dean on Friday, Sept. 28 from 3 to 4 p.m.

Widing will share his global leadership experience and welcome questions and conversations on how we can all work together to bring Weatherhead to a new level of excellence and impact. His appointment at Weatherhead begins on Oct. 15, 2012.
