The Indian Museum was established in 1980. Exhibits tell of the earliest Native Americans from this area from 10,000 B.C. until 1650 A.D.; Paleo, Archaic, Adena, Hopewell, Whittlesey and local Whittlesey, Reeve Village site of Lake County. Also, changing exhibits of today's Native Americans tell of the Eastern Woodlands, the Great Plains, the Southwest, California, the Pacific Northwest and the natives of Alaska. A resource library and hands-on activities are available.
